- Open Source Service Platform Research

Welcome to serviceplatform.org! The Open Source Service Platform Research initiative is committed to exploring, hosting and promoting innovative research ideas in the Internet of Services and related topics such as Cloud Computing. We invite researchers everywhere to use our results and to contribute back.

Showcases >> Public Demonstrations & Installations
Every now and then, we present our results not only in meetings and brainstorming sessions, but also on public stages. The most recent public demonstrations have been in Sevastopol and Kyiv (Ukraine), at the OUTPUT.DD event in Dresden, at the CeBIT 2011 in Hannover and at the INFORMATIK 2010 in Leipzig. Before, we also had demo sessions at the FIS and ServiceWave/ICSOC conferences in 2009. Now, we look forward to being present at the MIT.COM 2011 in Dresden. The picture below shows the presentation of the SPACE-Cloud extension at CeBIT.
The THESEUS Innovation Centre (TIZ) in Berlin lets everybody touch, experience and try out the latest developments in the Internet of Services research area. It contains a lab area in which the latest SPACEflight live demonstrator is installed for local walk-throughs and experiments, and a demo area in which the SPACEflight scenario services can be traded along with other demos like the USDL modeller, the TEXO marketplace and a mobile service scenario.
Visit the website of the THESEUS Innovation Centre and have a look at the FlexCloud calendar to stay informed about upcoming demonstrations.
