MDCS/SAL

Using the Service Abstraction Layer (SAL), non-functional properties (NFPs) in heterogenous service artefacts like service description documents and contract templates can be accessed through a uniform interface.

The Metadata Correlation Service (MDCS) uses SAL to retrieve NFP carrier documents from a service platform and correlate their information to gain meta-quality information and propagate it back into the system. It has been developed as a clean add-on to the SPACE service platform.

Download/Version Control

MDCS and SAL form the Cross-Format Non-Functional Properties (xNFP) project. xNFP is a separate project maintained at Gitorious.org.
