Noosfero

Noosfero, a free web-based platform for social networks, has been selected as a framework of choice to add a good-looking user interface to SPACE instances. In Noosfero, users can post contents and events, form communities, found enterprises and offer services and products.

Noosfero is implemented as a Ruby-on-Rails application.

The integration with SPACE requires a modified version of the codebase plus any number of extensions through further platform services. Currently, two such instances are operated.
